The frequency at which I think about this is suspicious.
Most often while driving I play out the situation in which I single handily improve the prison system.
This should be recognized as a brainstorm in infancy, and considered as a "for your consideration."
I do not have an extensive knowledge of incarceration, nor the prison system.

- Inmates should not be aloud 'cable TV.' instead, they should have access to the PBS library in it's entirety, & chosen documentaries and films. The BBC 6 hour mini series will be permitted as well.

- Inmates need to grow their own food. Manual labor and responsibility will cut into their time to get into shenanigans.

- There debt to society should be paid off by working for charities of some type. Or in some way helping with relief efforts of tragedies around the world.

- School should be required. and if a high school diploma/ G.E. had not been earned before they were sentenced, they should not have the opinion to be released, or parole until one is earned.

- They should not be provide with personal televisions for individual cells. Books will be readily available and encouraged.

-Everyday the New York times crossword puzzel will be handed out and the inmate who solves it correctly the fastest will recieve some sort of prize. maybe cigarettes.

The show was styled amazingly well, the headphones were a perfect addition, and there was shameless branding as far as the eye could see. I loved every second of it.

on new years a friend, kevin, had a mini polaroid and was documenting the nights events. he would snap a shot and then gave that picture to that person. I loved that. Granted it was late, but a recant acquaintance said to me "I want to take you home,and put you in footie pajama's and feed you marshmallows." I have known this individual for 4 days. I need to re-connect with nature, to kindle my relationship with the great out doors once more. I have only been camping twice, but I do love to wander through the forest (Big Cotton Wood Canyon namely.) I need to go real camping, so I'm going to start preparing for such an event by owning an axe. Basically, all I want for Christmas is knifes and designer shoes.

obviously I'm going to need the carrying sling to accompany. There is something about all this I'm finding so attractive. You can't tell me this isn't wonderful, you'd be lying to your self and to me. My 1# pet peeve is lying, and telling falsehoods to a woman with an axe is a terrible idea.

Fall is the season I love. but this weather makes me overly sentimental and needy.
Plants have started to grow, so excited for that 60 Ranunculs where planted (I went a little over board, even though I don't believe such things.)
Hats are coming along fabulously, much better than I could have hoped for or foreseen. I wish I had a personal camera to procure eveidents of my milinary skills. oh well, maybe that is what I will ask Santa for, probaly not.

I'm McKenna Taylor, let me introduse my self to you. I am essenically an only child, most of my fundemental growing and life learned lessons happened during age 4-7.... recesse... class resumed at age 17 but we're release on my 18th birthday over the Atlantic. I use my left and right frontal lobe to read, physiologically speaking this is incorrect. Most things I say I wont mean tomorrow, take nothing to litterally or in a serious nature. Not to say I'm a liar, I just change my mind a lot. I can't take pictures anymore, I wish it was different, there are rare and few people I will let take pictures of me. I lost touch with nature and am trying to rekindle what we once had. Reading is a past time, a passion, a pleasure. Most don't believe that, I like it that way. I want to do everything, thus I haven't done much, I can't decide what corse of direction I should go since I want to take them all. Time is mean. If you can think of 5 things you undoubtedly know about me, your in the top 2% of indaviuals I care about & shall be keeping you indefinatly. If not, I'm sorry, you're someone to past time with, nothing personal. I'm a delusional realist. I still like cartoons and assosiate with children as to join in the fun. I'm inside my head far to much, far to much. Talking to myself is normal, especailly in the car. It's nice hands free devices are now required to talk on the phone while driving, I barely get any "looks" anymore. If you ask a prying question or something of substance or importance, I will usually lie to you. My Achilles heel will remain a secret. I am an advocate against hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial soap/ cleaning products. I have been since day one. (I'm not against hygiene, lets get that clear.)
I won't be overdosing the kids on Neosporin, scars are cool. Maybe coddling isn't in my design. I have been in many an argument over this lifestyle choice. "So what are you doing now a days?"
Currently I'm enrolled in school. But I don't particular count that. This is what I'm truly doing.

I spend most my time with children under the age of 4, I like them more than anyone I am expected to associate with. Kid's under 4 aren't as pretentious or jaded as adults, its refreshing. Plus they will play games with me where the objective isn't trying to belittle one another to prove dominance. We are into building forts and hanging out in parks. If I'm not with the toddler crowd I'm more than likely with a married couple. One or the other, maybe both simultaneously.
I'm organizing a baby shower for twins at the moment and sewing tiny infant clothing in my spare time. I spent 4 hours looking at furniture and got 3 estimates for a set of custom couches that I may possibly purchase just because I feel like it. They are devine. I could get a 6 foot couch, with love seat and accompanying sitting chair all in a Whitney Steel fabric. I would prefer them with casters on the feet, but hey, I know I can't have everything. I also found this couch that cost more than the entire 3 piece set, that I MUST MUST HAVE. I have agreed to give up my bed and couch I currently have in my room for it. It's possibly the most comfortable cozy couch i have ever had the pleasure of sitting/ passing out in. I fell asleep on the showroom floor. It's a nod to the 70's, which it's true I'm not a huge fan of. Polyester makes me sweat that a hog in heat. but this "shelter sofa" is something I could get behind.

It's no secret I have skipped an all important step in my life. How can you go from high school to celebrating embryos forming in one fail swoop? Well actually, I know how, but it isn't my zygote, so this still applies. Most in my age bracket don't spend their Friday's honestly shopping for furniture for a fictitious house. The term is "dissociation," and I apparently am suffering from a sever case. I need my own home. I have art work to put up but not an once of wall space left. I need a work room. I'm once again, getting restless. Not to runaway like last time, but to forward my adulthood. More like put it on warp drive.

I'll do this for my kid one day, let him stay up all night so he'll pass out hard on the couch and he'll wake up to this wonderland. He'll never forget it. I wouldn't do it on his birthday though, to predictable.

I had a wonderful time in New England. I was my first of hopefully many excursions to the east.
It was mostly a Boston trip, my cousin Brit got hitched and I was so graciously invited to be in her line. When not partying with the family in honor of love, sight seeing was the activity of choice. I got to hit up the Boston Museum of Fine Art, swung by Old North Church, then the harbor, wandered through the Quincy Market place, and kicked it with the locals on Hanover St. When I professed a dying urgency for lobster and ice cream, Greg responded appropriately.
I was promptly taken to Maine for the 'real deal.' It's kinda bizarre you can be in a different state in less than an hour, but so happy that it was possible. Kennebunkport and Gooserock were cool little towns that must absolutely die in the winter time, but completely ideal in the summer.
The Highlight and the one "must do" on my list was make the trek to Walden Pond. Totally depressing. Henry would be spinning in his grave if he saw the conditions as they were. One look and the conjured images of the movie Meatballs flooded my mind. Have you seen the movie Meatballs(1979)? Bill Murray? Yes? No? It is a far cry from serenity.

That is exactly what has happened, it's a local watering hole complete with inflatable slides and embarrassing cretins dawning aqua-socks. it was all very sad. but the Pond, which is more like a sizeable lake, was beautiful. Of course, Sleepy Hollow was next. I loves me a cemetery, especially one with multiple famous authors oddly buried along one ridge. swung by Emerson House, and the Orchard house. Did the Freedom trail thing and Battle Greene. The rest is just a blur, but those were some of the majors.

I really enjoyed myself over there, I have been invited to DC and I'm in pursuit of some affordable tickets to do just that.

Some one called me, and as all conversations go, it went something to the effect of:

Nothing is a default. I'm never not doing anything. I mostly just don't want to go into detail as to the activity at hand. Plus, I am more interested in why I was granted the pleasure of a call. Maybe I was embarrassed by my private interest, but that's just the kinda stuff I'm into. I am not as dull as I lead on. I will repeat that sentiment to myself until it rings true.

in the last two week or so I:
went to LA Farmers Market. Road an Asian Elephant named Kitty. Made a fabulous dinner for me and a few choice guest. Orchestrated and transported two motorcycles. Viewed quite a few shows. Was in a wedding(my forth.) Made it to San Diego twice in one day. Went to my first State Fair. Talked my way out of yet another ticket. Visited a handful of museums. Cleaned a carburetor all by myself. Explored the Eastern seaside. Started writing notes of secret things in shorthand. Bonded with the boy. Finished 4 books. Did some more altering. hunted in the Fashion District for fabric. climbed a mountain. Averted near death, once again. Jumped off some rocks into the ocean.

It would be nice if I would actually do it, to find roommates and move to Laguna Beach. But frankly, I don't want roommates. There are few I would agree to live with, with age comes 'pick-y-ness'. Preferably I don't want roommates at all "A house (room) of ones own." Apparently I was spoiled in my last residence and refuses to revert to labeling my food, and separating my DVD's. Plus, there is no easy access to a freeway, PCH is a nightmare being a two lane highway. San Clemente is ideal, I think I'll be stickin around these parts indefinitely.

I have attended quite a few weddings this summer/spring. Sadly I have not seen one wedding dress that I thought was attractive in the least. I haven't in years but I am a tough one to please, admittedly.
The most heinous dresses have recently walked down the aisle. Have we all forgot to consider body shape and structure. Neglecting to select a dress to complement and flatter your figure it the most devastating mistake one could make. "It's all in the fit."
Please note stark white makes you look like fondant icing, I cant think of a soul who enjoys fondant, or at least one I would associate with. Eggshell or cream suits skin tones exponentially better.
This must be the decade of cap sleeves, enough already. Is there no one bold enough to try a 3/4's or, dare I say, a lace long sleeve? (think 1920's gala.) How is it all brides have shunned the idea of seasons. You don't wear short sleeve full length dresses in the winter- period.
The Mermaid, and or Flamingo Dancer cut is an atrocity to the craft dressmakers.
I have come to the conclusion everyone forgets how important foot ware is, regardless if your shoes can not be seen all the time, this does not mean you should dismiss the impact a stunning heel can make. Personally, the shoe trumps all. I know this is a stance not support by many, but I am firm in this opinion no matter.
And if I hear another 'soon to be wife' say "I got this dress because I felt like a princess!" I will projectile vomit all over your ruched ball gown with the applique encrusted with crystals. There is some psychological implications that need to be addressed before you can be deemed competent enough you agree to such a binding union.
Possibly, I am cruel to say such things on one of the most important days in these sweet girls lives. They all looked stunning, happy, & glowing, to say they were blushing brides is a correct cliché. Regardless, I call them as I seem them. this epidemic can not be ignored or aloud to continue. one of two things have got to be happening. Either they are unable to make rational decisions on attire, because of the overwhelming sensation which comes with the knowledge this inevitable day has arrived OR our culture, as a whole, is horribly tasteless. half & half maybe?

I don't have the time to go into the music choices that have been made recently. All I can do is shake my head and bit my tongue.

-Two days = 13 hours of Thai Buddhist Monk Ceremony. I can safely say it falls in the "Top 10 most incredible things that I have participated in" bracket.
- Started learning shorthand. I bought a 1949 textbook at the thrift store. I need someone to learn as well so we can send messages back an forth in obsolete means.
- My room got called a "Costume Room." I happily agree.
- Boston & New York Trip is looking like New York is gonna be out. Only Boston and surrounding areas. NY deserves my undivided attention. so that is gonna be this fall
- I prefer to dabble in all things than to commit to just one.
- Missed the showing of Cremaster Cycle, sad face.
- I'd like a job at the airport strictly for the perks. I could careless for money.

Yo Gabba Gabba! is a Children's program. And they swing some really great musical guests. Namely:
Of Montreal, MGMT, Cornelius, Jimmy Eat World, The Roots, CHROMEO, Mates of State, Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys), Hot Hot Heat, Weezer, Mos Def, Devo, Flaming Lips, The Ting Tings, Shiny Toy Guns, The Shins
and lets not forget the Main stays of Biz Markie and Mark Mothersbaugh (the guy who does most everything for Wes Andreson films and is the lead in Devo.)

My "Art appreciation and Museum touring" class gives extra credit so going to events held at Museums. Last month I went to the Natural History Museum in LA for their "First Friday" music performance. Breakestra and Fitz & the Tantrums were featured. Just some funky, feel good sounds. good time right? I really enjoy them both. My companion made it clear it wasn't their kinda music, I concluded there is a hearing problem to address.

The Museum did this last year too. I saw The Bird and the Bee there as well. The issue i have is trying to talk some one into going to LA to the Natural History museum. People just don't like museums apparently. it pains my heart. Combine visual stimulation, history, and music? There is nothing wrong with that mixture.
Sorta want to go to this week to see The Tallest Man on Earth (I have recently been introduced to him) and Gamble House, (by the by, have you ever been to the actually Gamble house? AMAZING, its in Pasadena right around the corner from the Norton Simon Museum. I was there 2 weeks ago. I suggest you take the tour if you get the chance. the house is a marvel of hand crafted glory.)

Negative. When I showed up to my designated BBQ, it was American flags, Burgers, Apple pie, and a box collection worth 12 hours of John Wayne films. I felt like I walked into Ralph Laurens house on 4th of July. I was in the mood for salsa, and the smooth sounds of a mariachi band. I wanted to feel like a minority and wear unflattering sombreros. I had the urge to beat a multicolored, paper mache animal, blind flooded until candy pours out. To turn lemons into lemonade, I am proud to announce I won a watermelon eating contest against some fool who challenged me. still don't know his name, but he sure knows his place.

Rekindled thoughts of the deathtrap, tree house in my grandmas backyard. Christened the "Rocket ship," it was crafted out of angry defiance with weathered, discarded wood and nails confirmed to cause Tetanus. Shaped into a minature silo, it sat about 3 feet off the ground on stilts & was a health code nightmare. My uncles friend, of questionable background and motives, secretly moved into the rocket ship when he became homeless. He would come into the house after everyone would leave for work and take clean shirts out of the dryer to wear. Only after 3+ weeks, was he discovered and ran off the premise.

I was raised with that motto ringing though my miniature ears. regardless of how irrelevant it was to my life, I was told never miss a opportunity or event if it was a "one time" thing. Clearly having disregarded these teachings, (exhibit A; my life,) It's time to make the 'rents' happy. Make good on my failed attempt to uphold the catchphrase of my heritage. I am going to consider entering a Motorally Scramble. This is contingent on if I can find a bike fitting all race requirements, under 200 $, by June 5th.

I might also enter the Pinup Pageant. I'm predicting: Oger-like shebikers 20+ lb's over weight, cover in bad tattoo's, trying to hard to be rockabilly. I may stand a chance. To be in the Scramble its a 40 $ entry free. and all bike have to be year 75 or older. It's apparently going to be super mellow on a Vintage dirt track they just finished building in Elsinore. If worse comes to worse and I cant find a junkie Endro to ride, I might go tandem with my friend. Now that would be a site. I have my outfit more or less worked out. I'm wearing some Japanese Fighter Pilot goggles (ebay), a black velvet equestrian riding helmet(secret antique store), hand made English black leather Riding boots(thrift store), and a Farragamo Scarf (Paris travels) the rest shall be a surprise.
What I'm more excited about is that we will be camping over night, so we are setting up a LUXURY TENT! Its gonna be filled with pursain rugs, a record player, cotts, and the gents that invited me can play some descant music, so ill be entertained for hours. Think Mountain Man Rendezvous meets Mad Max.
Uber thrilled for this, all in all, I'm gonna be secretly dressed to the nines surrounded by hessians. let the Insanity ensue.

Seafood with a View. Hit the Vieux Port (old port) to see fishermen haul in their catch. Feast on fresh mussels at one of the cute cafes facing the sea.

Road Trip. The nearby Basque towns of Bayonne and St. Jean de Luz are perfect day trip destinations, and the culture and foodie bastion of San Sebastian is within easy striking distance too.

Last night for some reason I was in a chauffered, white, mini van and Pete was taking a stroll through the countryside. I opened the sliding door and talked with him for quite some time while the car was going no faster than a crawl. Finally he grabbed my hand and came inside the van and sat on my lap. We joked, and he told me wild stories and all his most interesting excursions. Then said...
"I'd be crushed if I couldn't see you every day, you should move in with me so that wont happen."
So called me mum he reply was:
" your free to do as you please. But if you are moving to England, we are moving to France. It's only fair."

i dont like cars all to much. its just a mean to get around.
i prefer to talk in the dark, people are more honest in the dark.
i dislike how frequantly i have to utilize technology. It's over whelming to be able to contact some one instantaniously.
i will never live in a "planned Community" or track home. I politely refuse.
My future children with be encougared to wear what ever they want, i did, and i think i came out jsut fine. (i have a color wheel consisting of 4 hues and shades, but everythign goes with everything, thus not having to think when i am already late to something. there is a method to the madness.)
I love the home I am in currantly.
i am worried about owning a home some day because i like the opption to just get up and go where i please. but i guess i am never gone for to long, so it would be nice to have somewhere to come back too.
i should be much more acomplished for my age i think.
Apperantly I was mentally 27 last year. I feel regression has taken hold though.
I am a selective perfectionist.
I like to go to cultural festivals and events, no matter how obscuer they are.
i'm not sure why i have a blog, i tell no one of it, i honestly write things to remember later, or to post pictures so i can free up space on my hard drive by deleting them afterwords.
recantly, an epiphany of truth made me cry unexplainably, while driving. this made me think i had a tumor pressing on my Prefrontal Cortex.
I have been useing the words Fasade, Wise, Flounder, Naturally, and Interesting far to much. I'm on a loop, i need some variety as of late.
i think the human body is a wonder.
i would love to go to anywhere, suddenly.
i work out most my problems by having long indepth conversations with myself. It's saved my sanity, im positive of it.
im fantastic at memorizing.

I was asked this question at 1 AM by the cashier at CVS. Not being familiar with the term, I didn't know how to respond. I stared blankly at him, he continued. "You have long hair and a long dress, that how Pentecostals dress." "no, I'm just buying cough drops and pushpins." He also works at Ralphs, the Super Market next door. But this is besides the point.

I go to Museums and or, galleries every Saturday. I do this for a viewing and discussion class I'm currantly enrolled in. Our last one was Bergamont Station in Santa Monica. Let me say it was one of the most enjoyable days I can remember. Regardless if I was pulled over and harassed by a cop for 30 minutes, got lost on my way back, and my ipod was dead for the entiertie of the trip. The plus side is, I didn't get a ticket, apparently the 10 runs into the 5 so i made it home after all, and I found out what CD's I had in my car.

5- The Poises- Frosting on the Beater
6- The Cranberries gold album, Disc 1 (obviously i went though a 90's stage)

The most exciting thing I saw at Bergamont was some prints from Richard C. Miller.
Hand developed, exquisite photographs. There is something about film photography that gets me. I prefer film. I always have. Something about it you cant get with digital. Please don't think im naive enough to make the assumption 'film is harder, I'm truly not that dumb, (though the evidence would say other wise.) Nore am I bashing digital. I am aware of the lengthy and extremely involved processes of digital production, I have never appemted such, me and technology aren't on the best of terms. Yet with film there is just a richness you don't see anywhere else, it's a labor of love to hand process. It isn't instant gratification. I'll stop now, I haven't actually taken any pictures in years. Digital 2 years, Manuel 4 years. I think something poignant and life-altering must have happened to me about those times, I just cant put my finger on it.

The first one is my favorite, but I also like the one with james shooting (Im a fan of candid, but maybe that because im interestingly camera shy now. something must have happened to me. I jsut like to see people in the moment, not possing or trying to give off an impression because they think they are being forever immortalized in a picture. I want to see people as they are.) & if you couldn't tell the girl with the mousey hair in the wedding dress is Marilyn Monroe pre-nose job and platinum blonde. Most people don't know she got some work done, she was nothing really special if ya ask me. I'm a Jayne Mansfield kinda gal myself.

I ventured to South Coast Mall. I don't particularly enjoy going to this gold paved, mecca of all haute couture. It's one of those places where you have to get dressed up to go shopping, which today I didn't. Looks and glances from the passing bourgeoisie patrons were hinting that I shouldn't have made it past the velvet ropes into the Emerald City. This place would be incredible if the money tree in your backyard was in full bloom. But alas, the winter was harsh and my currency fern is in the ICU indefinitely. I had a conversation today with an Employee of H&M about where to find men's clothing, I was in the 'all woman store' of H&M, they have two at this mall. Yes, "separate but equal" is still in full swing.
This is our conversation, verbatim.....

Moi- Excuse me, where is the Men's H&M?

Employee- Sigh* Ok, it can get a little tricky. You go out of the store to your left, make sure you go past the Crystal Court, and then over the Bridge of the Gardens, to South Coast Home and its on the 3rd Level.

Moi- So this Crystal Court you mentioned, how will i know when I find it?

Employee- Oh, Because its not the Carousel Court, if you are by the Carousel Court your way off, but that's full of Balloons, not crystals. they are kinda hard to get mixed up.

Moi- If I get lost I'll ask the white rabbit. (I was mocking Alice in Wonderland there, since his description of the landscape of this mall was so outlandish, and that was the last movie I saw in theaters. I didn't like Alice in Wonderland. But it was decided by all that the Cheshire Cat's coloring was marvelous. Clearly the Employee didn't catch on.)

Employee- Oh, I'm sorry, the white rabbit only comes here seasonally for the kids at Easter, you miss him by a week. So sorry!

Moi- Looks like I'm on my own then.

Employee- Good Luck!

To shorten this story, I made it, quite a trek though. I grabbed a mall directory, yep they print theirs out here, and there was a Jewel Court not a 'Crystal Court.' The Bridge of the Gardens in which was completely covered by assortments of different flowers, a literal floating garden in the sky. the legitstics of this intrigued me for some time. how did they manage to factor in the water weight for the foliage? wonder how much give this bridge has to offer, where would be the safest place to be on a bridge in an earthquake, blah blah blahh. The Bridge of the Gardens crosses over a 8 lane, high traffic road and into another smaller mall that I have dedicated The Man Cave. This smaller mall was more geared towards the men folk, and men oriented stores. plus the spill over that doesn't fit in the major mall, but if you need to get back to the main event, all you need to do is go "up the airy mountain, down the rushy glen"...

I kinda really love this film. I'm not sure if the endearing poor editing and the missing plot line made me love it so. of the early attempts in animation got me hooked. there were some good line in it, that's true. I'll need to view it one more time to get a good feel for it.

Having an out-of-wack biological time clock, is quiet interesting. I dont sleep till 4 am, yet wake at nine, for rounding and hour, then fall back asleep till 11:30ish. then i get uncomfortably warm, since the skylight sun hits me and refuses to give me the darkness i request to slumber.
Season are another game entirely. I will be so bold as to diagnose myself as having S.A.D.

Winter are my hibernation months, i scarcely go out, make a plethora of baked goods, and take numerous baths consecutively, possibly more than one a day. communication via telephone- its non existent. thank goodness my hometown motto boast "the best climate in the world." basically season less. spring, summer, and then fall for the winter months. those are long gone. now, i have emerger from the cacoon of solitude, streching forth the wings of spring.

I found i relate to certain eras dependant on our currant calender:

Spring- 1960's almost exclusively. sometimes Paris, 1990. spring is what we are currently in now, and im loving it.

Summer- the Au Natural movement of the 1970's and the mid 90's. Not to be mistaken for hippie garbage or grunge, i loath hemp and tiedye moo moos. natural face make up, jeans, and a white tee shirt. If i need to dress up for something a bit, i channel my 1920's English country side. think Gatsby's, with an English flair.

I thought this cute and appropriate. i started my netflixs trail last night, and "who are you polly maggoo?" will be in my hands tomorrow. I have wanted to see this 1966 Soto mockumentary for eons, but its 43$ plus shipping on Amazon, not going to buy something i dont love. edie has nothing to do with the movie. i just like this.

Another major point on my travel list of "must." go to Spain to wander the halls of Dali. I need some one to agree to go with me at the end of may/ june. i priced tickets, and its do-able.
Shanna's never ending fear that I will get snatched up by woman trafficking fiends, is a bit of a hurdle. when proposed with the idea Dr. Kaeleigh & I would bike the coast from Bruges, to Amsterdam for our birthdays, this was basically her only concern. "if a guy was going with you that's a different story, but not two girls alone." still confused by that comment, we seeked for a remedy. trying to enlist Jonah Crowley to be our chaperon we were hopeful. he didn't believe we were serious, thus refusing to offer assistance. The idea was scrapped. But maybe a more probable excursion will come to fruition.
